Hundreds got up early Friday for the annual pancake breakfast as great weather greeted the soon-to-be-well-fed people for the beginning of Sheridan WYO Rodeo Parade day Friday morning. Mark Kinner, with Kiwanis, says that the event is always a great success.
Those attending had nothing but praise for the flapjacks. Virgie Polomo of Sheridan has come out every year since the event's inception, and now, she brings her granddaughter Britney Rios each year too.
Don Cherni of Sheridan says it's all about the pancakes.
The breakfast serves about 2,500 annually with help from the local Boy Scout troop, and all money raised by the five dollar per person tickets goes to support local youth activities like Stars of Tomorrow and Key Club.
