Johnson County's New Deputy Attorney Sworn Tuesday

Johnson County Clerk of Court Thelma Axberg performed the swearing-in of Johnson County's new Deputy County Attorney Ralph Boynton Tuesday afternoon in the courthouse.
Boynton will be replacing current Deputy Attorney Christian Lukjan, who will be moving to allow his wife to take a position with the University of Wyoming. Lukjan will remain with the county through the end of February to help with the transition.
New Deputy Attorney Boynton comes to Johnson County most recently from Gillette, with much experience including positions as Chief Deputy Attorney for Campbell County, Deputy Attorney for Park County and County Attorney for Sublette County.
Johnson County Attorney Kenneth DeCock said he has known Boynton for over ten years and has the utmost respect for him and his experience and feels he will be a valuable asset to Johnson County.
Boynton said he has always been fond of Buffalo and Johnson County and he looks forward to getting to work.
Boynton begins his job as Deputy County Attorney immediately.
