Johnson County's Commissioners tabled a decision on compiling a priority list for projects at the Johnson County Fairgrounds at their meeting Tuesday.
The decision was made based on the desire not to circumvent the Fair Board, who the commission felt should be compiling the list and deciding what projects to move forward with and then make those recommendations back to the commission.
The Commissioners had asked Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery to do a feasibility study, looking at various projects at the fairgrounds and certain upgrades and their costs and benefits to the community. That study was turned over to the county late in January.
The Johnson County Fair Board is expected to address the study and the priority list at their meeting Thursday night.
The meeting will be at the Fairgrounds Office beginning at 7pm.
