This weekend the ninth annual Johnson County Small Business Expo will give many types of businesses a chance to show their goods and services at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
What started nine years ago as a showcase for home-based businesses or businesses without a large presence has grown into one of the largest little business expositions in the region.
Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis said 44 booths will be packed with more than 50 vendors both inside and outside the community building.
She gives examples of the types of vendors that will be attending.
Information for those thinking of opening their own business or current business owners contemplating expansion will be available from both the Wyoming Gro Biz Program and the Small Business Administration on loans, grants and other help available to entrepreneurs.
The chamber will also have information on marketing, promotions, upcoming events and the proposed new community building at the fairgrounds.
The expo will run Friday from 3 to 8pm with a Business After Hours from 5 to 7, and then again Saturday from 9am until 3pm.
