The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees got the report on their 2013 preliminary draft audit at this week's meeting, and the findings were it was a “clean report.”
Roxy Skogen, with Lovelett, Skogen & Associates CPA's of Casper, gave the report at this week's school board meeting, saying the staff had cooperated fully with the audit and that they “were great.”
Only minor problems with procedural issues in record-keeping were reported, but nothing that would be defined a “material” problem that requires reporting to the state but just a mention to management at the district level. Overall, Skogen said it was a very clean audit.
This preliminary draft will eventually contain the report from District Business Manager Matt Ramey. Once he submits those reports,then the final draft report will go back to the auditors who will present the final reports back to the district.
