Johnson County School Board Approves Employment Requests

Johnson County School District One's Board of Trustees approves employment requests submitted to them at their regular meeting this week.

Recommendations approved by the board were Keith Leppert as math instructor at Buffalo High School, replacing Doug Graslie; Tara Markunson as math instructor at BHS, replacing Stan Lakin; Erika Frisby as guidance counselor at the Kaycee K-12 School, replacing Donna Edwards; Luke Danforth as special education instructor for the district, replacing Kathy Camino; Stephen Mullins as art instructor at BHS, replacing Paul Prosinski; Allen Streeter as assistant high school track coach at Kaycee High School; and Matt Davis as assistant high school track coach at KHS, pending his endorsement.

Resignations were accepted from Heidi Hart as special education instructor at BHS and from Ron Chapin as head girls swim coach.

The board also approved an isolation request from Allison Jarrard for two children for a 22 miles-per-day reimbursement.
