The re-subdivision Lot 1 in the Dube Minor Subdivision on Highway 16 West of Buffalo will be the main topic at the Johnson County Planning Commission meeting Tuesday.
The Sketch Plan Review and Public Hearing will begin at 4pm at the Johnson County Office Annex A Building at 26 N. DeSmet in Buffalo.
Because the subdivision is within the joint jurisdiction range of one mile outside of the city limits, it will need the approval of the city of Buffalo as well.
County Planner Rob Yingling gave a report to the commissioners at last week's meeting about the other projects he was working on.
Yingling met with County Attorney Ken DeCock late last month to discuss the need for a new subdivision improvements agreement for the county regarding the Outlaw Acres Subdivision west of Barnum.
Rock Creek Estates was also discussed. Yingling explains.
Work sessions for the zoning regulations project have been set. The first is Tuesday, February 8th at 1pm at the Planning Office, the second is scheduled for February 19 at 9am to work on zoning maps. A meeting has been scheduled for February 18th at 1 pm to discuss zoning mapping around the Town of Kaycee.
Finally, the Johnson County Subdivision Regulations Revision document is nearing completion, and Yingling said the consultants will be formatting the draft document created by the Planning Department using the existing consultation budget.
