At the Johnson County Commissioner's special meeting Monday, the commissioners approved a Resolution to move the next regularly scheduled commission meeting because of the election.
Resolution No. 461 approved the moving of the regular meeting from Tuesday, November 6 to Wednesday, November 7 to not interfere with and to free county employees for the election.
The moving of the first meeting in November for elections is common across the state, according to the commissioners.
