A fundraiser to raise funds to help with their expansion project will be happening next Friday, November 1st at the Johnson County Library.
Library Director Cynthia Twing tells us what stage the project currently is in.
In the meantime, the library will continue with fundraisers and money received now is less that will need to go on the ballot in 2014.
The event will feature a reception and silent auction from 6 to 7:30pm and an oral auction by Brannian Auctioneers that will begin at 7:30.
The list of items for the live auction include artwork, antiques, getaway packages including one for a Wyoming football game, and a bronze by D. Michael Thomas.
There will be Hors d'oeuvres by the Sagewood Cafe, wine and coffee provided by The Fix during the evening.
Only 150 tickets are available and are on sale now for $15 per person and can be purchased at the library.
A Friends Of The Library Raffle will also be offered, tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and will be for a collection of Wyoming made products, with proceeds going back to the foundation to fund their Summer Reading Program.
The event is sponsored by the Johnson County Library Foundation and the Friends Of The Library.
