The Johnson County Commission looks to have a full agenda at their next meeting Tuesday, Dec 7th. Aaron Palmer has more.
The meeting will begin at 9 am, and the commissioners will get an update from County Attorney-Elect Kenneth DeCock at 9:15.
They will then get an update on Information Technology from Rande Money at 9:30.
Four budget amendments will be addressed, and Commissioner Smokey Wildeman explains.
An executive session will follow, with the commissioners temporarily closing the meeting to discuss a personnel issue.
In the afternoon, the commissioners will discuss legislation with State Senator John Schiffer, starting at 1:30 pm.
The contractor building the criminal justice center will give an update at 2 pm.
County Planner Rob Yingling will give an update on planning and zoning projects in the county, court items will be discussed with Judge John Fenn and the County Board of Equalization will discuss and approve minutes from the last meeting, Wildeman said.
The meeting will be in the Commission Chambers upstairs in the Johnson County Courthouse.
