Upper Clear Creek Road will be closed at times Tuesday, April 17th to allow Johnson County Road and Bridge to replace an aging, damaged culvert. The culvert work will be approximately 0.6 miles west of the Klondike Road intersection.
Scott Pehringer, County Road and Bridge Supervisor, said the culvert is in an irrigation ditch and is at the end of its life with the bottom nearly rusted through, and he wanted to get the routine replacement done this spring before the irrigation water is turned on.
He explains how traffic will be affected in the area.
Work will be conducted between 9am and 2:30pm and motorists can expect delays of up to a half an hour during that time.
