The Buffalo Senior Center is applying for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through the Wyoming Business Council, and they approached the Johnson County Commissioners to sponsor the grant application.
The grant is for $25,000 which will require a local match of $6,250 that will be supplied by the senior center. The grant will go toward a study of the senior center, according to AJ Mock, Director of the Buffalo Senior Center.
The discussion continued during the public hearing, but no public comment was offered.
The commissioners approved Resolution No. 466 after the public hearing was closed, lending their support for the grant application.
