The Johnson County Commissioners have approved a partial vacation for the Rock Creek Estates Subdivision on the recommendation of the Planning Commission.
Rick Erb, legal representation for Means Enterprises, one of the landowners involved, explains why the vacation was necessary.
All landowners approved of the vacation with some retaining easements, rights-of-way and other conditions, including covenants, being vacated as well.
County Planner Rob Yingling told the Commissioners that the Planning Commission had voted to approve all the conditions of the petition and recommend the Commissioners allow the petition to move forward.
The Commissioners voted to approve the petition.
