Johnson County Approves MOU, Agreement, Boardmembers

At last week's meeting, the Johnson County Commissioners took care of some “housekeeping” by first approving a Memorandum of Understanding, or MOU, between themselves and the University of Wyoming Extension Office in Buffalo.

The MOU formalizes an agreement for the county to reimburse the state for a portion of the salary and provide office space and equipment for the Univversity of Wyoming Extension program for Johnson County.

The county also signed a “Landlord Agreement” with Rocky Mountain Power for a property recently purchased by the county at 181 N. Adams Ave. The agreement will put the power for the property in the county's name with each tenant receiving individual bills. The chairman was approved to sign the agreement.

Accepted by the commission was the resignation of Wayne Graves from the Planning Commission with one change to the motion.

Also approved was the appointment of Jim Purdy to the Airport Board.
