Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek gave a short media conference at the Powder River Rest Area east of Buffalo at about 11:30 this morning to update the public on the search efforts for a 4 year-old girl that fell through the ice Sunday night.
As part of the "Love On Your Art" fundraiser presented by the Sagebrush Community Art Center on Saturday night at the Sheridan Inn in Sheridan, people were asked to donate their art to be auctioned off.
As broadcast earlier, we’d confirmed a report that local authorities were searching for a 4-year-old girl who had fallen through the ice on the Powder River at an Interstate 90 rest stop east of Buffalo.
Saturday was an invitation for people to join in community discussions and simply have the opportunity to sit back and think. The atrium of Sheridan College’s Whitney Academic Center became a classroom for this year’s first Saturday U, an outreach from the University of Wyoming.
