Waves of pink covered Whitney Commons Saturday as over 700 pink-clad participants took part in the 6th annual Link-Partners in Pink walk/run. Organizer Ada Kirven was out there shimming to the music and tells us what the event is all about.
According to the Wyoming Department of Game and Fish, the number of Wyoming women who hunt and fish continues to increase. In a release, department officials said since 2008 there has been a 9% increase in female hunters and a 17% increase in female anglers.
The University of Wyoming has released its enrollment figures for this fall. UW spokesman Jim Kearns says the total figures show 12,932 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled, an increase of four students from last year.
