Jodi's Heart of Sheridan is a finalist in the "100 Cars for Good" program sponsored by Toyota. In the competition, Toyota takes 5,000 non-profits from around the country and narrows them down to 500, then, five of the organizations per day are posted on Toyota's Facebook page where people can vote for the winning organization to win a car.
Jodi's Heart's chance to win a car is this Sunday, July 31. Case Manager for Jodi's Heart, Jared Martin, talked about how much the van would help their organization.
They will be on the Facebook page along with a video they made. The page can be accessed facebook.com/toyota by clicking a link on the side of the page labeled: “100 Cars for Good”. Martin said that Toyota tries to match up the non-profits with similar-sized ones on their voting day because entire country will be voting. The Facebook page will be available to view and vote this Sunday only.
The only other non-profits in the region that qualified were the animal shelter from Cheyenne and two organizations from Montana.
