Property tax refunds and adjustments were approved by the Johnson County Commissioners at last week's meeting.
Johnson County Assessor Cindy Rogers brought three separate refunds and adjustments to the commission's attention, saying the land owners had been overtaxed on recent appraisals of their property.
The first refund was in response to a sold asset that was still appraised on the landowner's property tax assessment.
Bull Camp Land and Cattle was refunded $781.36 for the overtaxed amount from 2009, and had their 2010 tax amount reduced by $1,008.02.
Another tax refund that was approved went to Clyde and Judith Snell in the amount of $72.92 for tax year 2010.
A tax adjustment was approved for John and Melissa Anoble for $605.09, which was a tax protest that was headed to the State Board of Equalization for review, but a settlement between the property owner and the county was reached before it went to Cheyenne.
Rogers also told the commission there are more adjustments, refunds and settlements that she will be bringing before them as they become ready for their review.
