The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce's monthly luncheon will feature information on the Yellowstone Volcano and the surrounding Geothermal Ecosystem. The information will be provided by one of the top experts in the field, who has studied the area extensively.
Chamber Director Angela Jarvis explains who the speaker is and his expertise.
Lowenstern is the Director of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory in Menlo Park, California. He will also discuss gas geochemistry, igneous petrology, geochronology and geothermal development, all relating to the Yellowstone area.
The Chamber Luncheon and presentation is $13 per person with lunch, or just the presentation is free. The luncheon will be at the Bozeman Trail Steakhouse Convention Center beginning at noon Wednesday, March 23rd.
