JobAssist Adds Four Communities

Sheridan, Jackson, Cody and Casper have now been included in the Department of Workforce Services Healthy Families Succeed JobAssist program. Started two years ago as a pilot project for Laramie County, it is aimed at establishing greater job skills which then lead to sustained self-sufficiency for Wyoming families already receiving two or more publicly-funded state services. DWS Wyoming Director, Joan Evans.

In the past two years, JobAssist served folks primarily in Cheyenne, enrolling 280 individuals and their families. Because it has become so successful, the four aforementioned cities are on board. Dr. Ann Reyes, program coordinator for DWS tells us.

Helping. . .

I like this news, helping people in need to become self-sufficent. Good to see Sheridan in the list of cities being introduced into this program.

Respectfully,
