The Johnson County Commission will hold a work session Monday, May 2 to discuss the North/South Bypass Road easements and rights-of way with landowners affected in the area.
Landowners along Bypass Road have concerns over easements and rights-of-way along the road and discussed them with the commissioners at their last meeting April 19th.
Surveying showed numerous errors on easements and the non-uniform width of rights-of-way for the road itself.
Rights-of-way range anywhere from 80 to 200 feet wide, according to Bighorn Surveying.
The landowners want the rights-of way set at a uniform width to clean up their deeds and are trying to compromise with the county.
The intersection at the north end of Bypass Road and Main Street is also of concern and discussions will continue about the possible realignment of the intersection and how that might affect landowners in the area.
The meeting will be at the County Road and Bridge office located on Butte Street beginning at 1:30pm.
