The 2011 Johnson County Fair and Rodeo wrapped up its week-long run this weekend with the rodeo performances Saturday and Sunday, the Junior Livestock Sale Saturday night, and the main event this weekend, the Fair and Rodeo Parade Saturday morning.
According to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Assistant Director Rachel McCaughey, the parade had 60 entries that lined up that morning, which is a little better than average.
The theme for this year's parade was “Paint Your Wagon,” and we will post results for the winning floats in each category when they become available. Sheridan Media was well- represented with the sound van, the vintage firetruck and Clyde the Camel, led by Kim Love.
Sunday's rodeo performance was the culminating event for the celebration, and we will have results from the rest of the fair and rodeo events as they are made available.
