Jo Co Commission to Address Recycling Center Concerns

After the City of Buffalo denied a request by the county to waive permit fees for the new joint city/county recycling center building, the Recling Center Board decided they needed to discuss issues with both entities at their meetings Tuesday, July 5.
The Recycling Board and City Council are scheduled to be at the County Commissioner's meeting at 2:30pm for all three entities to discuss questions and concerns.
Also at the meeting, the commissioners will discuss surveys on the North/South Bypass Road, Lake Ridge and Canal Road with County Road and Bridge.
The new phone system for the new justice center will be discussed.
GSG Engineering will give the commission a construction update on the new justice center, and on a related note, the Justice Center Joint Powers Board will meet beginning at 3pm.
And the commissioners will hear reports from the County Board of Health and Planner Rob Yingling concerning zoning issues.
The meeting will begin at 9am Tuesday upstairs in the commissioner's office at the Johnson County Courthouse.
