Johnson County's Commissioners received an audit report at their Tuesday meeting, and overall, they got a "clean" report, with only minor issues that need attention.
That's according to Molly Levine with Porter, Muirhead, Cornia and Howard, CPAs of Casper.
Levine said the County departments showed adequate documentation and they could not find where any information was withheld.
The minor issues they did find were brought to the County Commission's attention for information only. They include: incomplete documentation of equipment purchased with Federal Grant money; incomplete warrant documentation; missing I-9 (proof of citizenship) forms at some County entities; and voucher documentation.
The recommendations from the CPA firm was for the various County offices to review policy and to bring themselves into compliance with state and Federal statutes and regulations.
