The cold weather couldn't hold back the standing room only crowd at this month's “Jentel Presents Artists in Residency” program. Held at the SAGE Community Art Center, the current artists in residency at the Jentel Foundation talk about their work and their process.
This month's presenters included a poet, a photographer, a print maker, an oil painter, and a fiction and screenwriter. Jill Osier is from Fairbanks, Alaska, and read some of her poetry Tuesday night.
Delighted to be back in Wyoming, she shares a once in a lifetime opportunity she had this past August. She was able to stay for ten days in the home of Robert Frost and work on her own poetry.
Program Director at the foundation, Lynn Reeves says there's a side benefit when these artists come and live together for a month at Jentel.
Jentel Presents is held the first Tuesday of every month and is open to the public.
