At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School Board reviewed and discussed the hiring process for certified staff, went into executive session to dicuss personnel matters, and then reconvened and approved employment requests.

The Hiring Process For Certified Staff booklet was compiled by Dr. Jeannie Barent and she gave a presentation on the compilation along with changes that were made to the document. It will be used by the district in future hiring processes when approved by the board.
All recommendations for employment, renewals of certified staff and administrative staff were all discussed and approved as presented to the board.
A transfer from Kindergarten Instructor to Title I Instructor at Meadowlark Elementary was approved for Janice Anderson, and the resignation of Marcie Leis as accompanist for Clear Creek Middle School was also accepted.
