The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at their last meeting, heard an update on the various construction projects at the various schools in Buffalo from District Business Manager Matt Ramey.
The District's newest school, Cloud Peak Elementary, is almost complete with only minor costmetic work still left to accomplish between now and the beginning of the school year.
Teachers will begin moving into the building on July 22nd to begin preparing for the upcoming year.

A public walk-through/open house is expected to be scheduled at that time to show off the new facility.
The Clear Creek School vestibule will not be ready for delivery to the school until August 20th, but is still expected to be completed before the beginning of classes at the end of August.
The remodel at Meadowlark School is nearing completion and is expected to be done on-time and under budget, he said.
The new storage shed at Buffalo High School is done and the curb and gutter project on the backside of the building is expected to begin shortly.
And finally the floor tile replacement project in the commons area of the high school is expected to begin and be completed in the next few weeks.
