The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at their last meeting, discussed the current audit report and the upcoming audit with District Business Manager Matt Ramey.
Ramey told the board that the current Audit Report, compiled by the State Department of Education, reviewed employee experience only, as reported by the district.
Ramey explains more about the DOE audit.
Ramey said they will look at the entire state and if there is a trend where districts are owed money, then there is a possibility Johnson County may see some.
Also coming up is the district's annual audit, which will begin the first week in October.
Ramey explains more.
Finally, Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler told the board the differences in the types of audits the district must submit to every year.
