At their meeting Monday night, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees voted to approve two separate bids, one for property/casualty insurance and the other for a storage building and drainage work at Buffalo High School.
Bid One, for the district's casualty and property insurance coverage, was awarded to HUB, International for an annual premium of $123,083 per year. The other bid came from North Wyoming Insurance of Buffalo for $149,394. The winning bid will save the district roughly $30,000 per year in insurance premiums.The contract is for one year.
The second bid award is for the construction of a storage building, some curb and gutter work and work to alleviate a drainage issue at Buffalo High School.

The bid of $121,878 with an altenate bid of $1,672 for insulation in the storage building was awarded to Cleary Building Corp. of Sheridan.
