The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at this week's meeting in Kaycee, approved employment requests from the administration.
Approved by the board was the recommendation of Kelsey Warren as Assistant Girls' Basketball Coach at Clear Creek Middle School, pending certification. She will replace Kristen Hein.
Also approved was the resignation of Billy Bronson as custodian at Cloud Peak Elementary School.
The board was informed by Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler that the easement the Johnson County Healthcare Center is pursuing from the district is on hold until December, when the hospital board will decide whether or not to pursue the easement and move forward with building a new nursing home facility.
Kessler was asked what he knew of the new School Facilities Department Director, Bill Panos.
In other discussions at the meeting, the district will have their yearly internal audit performed beginning next week; last-minute punch list items, changes and repairs are being completed by contractors at the new Cloud Peak School and should be wrapped up soon.
