The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees approved Employment and Isolation requests at their last meeting.
Employment recommendations were: Alan Streeter as assistant girls' basketball coach at Kaycee High School. He will be paid 9.5% of base pending certification.
Carole Martinez as the Barnum/Mayoworth route driver to be paid $15.78 per hour for a 3.5 hour day through the rest of the 2012-13 school year.
Jude Mikal as assistant boys' basketball coach at Buffalo High School, to be paid 9.5% of base for one year only.
Melinda Austin as a full-time custodian at Kaycee School, to make $12.53 per hour for an 8-hour day.
Kurtis Maxwell as operational support specialist at Kaycee School, to make $15.07 per hour for an 8-hour day.
Also approved was an isolation request for Chris and Lori Knudson for their two grade-school aged children.
District Transportation manager Dennis Zezus explains more about isolation requests.
They will be reimbursed at 48.8 miles once per day or 97.6 miles twice a day.
