At their meeting Monday night in Kaycee, the Johnson County School District Board of Trustees approved a draft of the annual Report to the Community with some changes.
The annual Report to the Community provides information on how srudents are performing at the district's schools, including PAWS testing, graduation rates, and shows students' proficiency in core areas of math, reading and writing.
It also looks at staff's professional qualifications and awards or certifiactions achieved during the year.
Budget highlights are also in the report.
The board's objectives, beliefs and vision are also highlighted.
The recently-compiled report features information and data from the 2010-2011 school year.
After reviewing the report, the board approved releasing the document to the public, with small changes in how some of the data was presented, to make it easier to understand.
The report will be available on the District's website at www.jcsd1.us later this week, and hard copies will be posted at various public buildings for the community to review.
