The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at their Wednesday meeting, approved various employment requests for the upcoming school year.
Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler told the board that vacant teaching positions have been filled, as long as there are no resignations in the next few weeks, and only a few coaching positions still need to be filled. He was confident those positions would be filled soon.
Approved were Jason Bennett as music instructor at BHS; Trevor Moon as assistant football coach at BHS; Dustin Kavitz as assistant wrestling coach at BHS; Laurie Anderson as spirit squad coach/advisor at BHS; Heidi Hart as assistant student council advisor at BHS; Chris Cox as assistant football coach at BHS; and Tim Marton as physical education teacher, part-time at BHS/Clear Creek Elementary School.
A transfer was approved from CCES to BHS for Kelsey Warren as PE teacher.
Resignations approved included Tracie Kirven, assistant student council advisor at BHS; Jay Camino as assistant football coach at BHS; Johns Hepp as head middle school football coach; and Lee Kremers as assistant football coach at Kaycee High School.
