JCHC Board Gets Report On Memorials, Donations, Survey

The Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees, at their last meeting, heard the reports on memorials, donations, and the latest results from patient surveys.

During the month of May, the Amie Holt Care Center received $900 for the Marna Eitel Memorial, $30 for the Dorothy Kovalik Memorial, and $40 for the May Darrah Memorial for a total of $970 in the Care Center.

Hospice received $790 for the Lois Gordon Memorial, $490 for the Leland Joseph Durfee Memorial, $295 for the Betty Leath Memorial, $75 for the Nick Tyrell Memorial and a donation of $10 from Wigs/ET Quilts.

The grand total this month for donations and memorials was $2,630.

The patient surveys returned to the healthcare center this month were all overwhelmingly positive toward the facilities.
Patients surveyed said they had no safety concerns, but said improving monitoring of the Emergency Room Doors after hours and lessening the wait in the waiting room would be areas to improve.
