JCHC Board Gets Report From Clinic, Numbers From Donations

At their last meeting, the Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees heard the monthly report from the clinic and got the latest numbers from donations and memorials to the facility.

Lori Lutterman reported that in the clinic for March, patient visits were 1,322 which is down from 1,409 in 2012.
They saw 48 new patients during the month, had 500 same-day visits, 304 Medicare visits and 79 Medicaid visits.

She also reported that Dr. Kirven is now starting to phase his practice out in preparation of taking his new position with the University of Washington School of Medicine's Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho (WWAMI) medical program July 1st.
Dr. Kirven has been teaching with the program for a number of years, and will continue to oversee the program throughout the entire state of Wyoming.
He will be working part-time during May and June and then from July 1st on will just be working an occasional shift in the ER.

Donations and memorials given to the facility in March totaled $1,255.
