At their last meeting the Johnson County Healthcare Center Board of Trustees got some positive numbers from the various departments.
In the clinic, there were 1,473 patients seen in February, up from 1,366 in 2012. They have 63 new patients as well.
Amie Holt Care Center currently has 38 residents which is slightly down from numbers normally seen, averaging in the 40's.
The hospital had five babies delivered and all other departments reported busy months as well.
Staff changes at the hospital were one resignation and another nurse hired with plans to hire another clerk to help with the transition to Electronic Health Records.
Home Health and Hospice reported 41 patients active while Hospice has 5 currently active.
The talent show to benefit Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice was a great success according to Director Elaine Kozisek.
Finally, donations and gifts to the facility totaled just over $9,100 for the month, including $7,100 from the Hospice show.
