At their meeting Wednesday night, the Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees heard reports on the final 2012 financial performance report and the first projected budget for FY 2013.
In 2012, the healthcare center's total revenue was $20.8 million, less deductions from revenue of $4.4 million for a total operating revenue of $16.4 million.
Operating expenses for the center totaled $17.3 million leaving an operating net loss of roughly $876,000.
Non-operating revenue for the year totaled $4.4 million which left a net gain for the year of $3.5 million.
The first projected budget for FY2013 was also discussed, and numbers were close to those of FY2012.
Total operating revenue in 2013 is projected to be $16.8 million,
operating expenses are expected to jump in FY2013 to $18.1 million, for an operating net loss of $1.3 million. Non-operating revenue is projected to drop to $3.7 million, leaving a net gain of $2.3 million.
FY 2013 numbers are projections and will be adjusted throughout the year.
