Johnson County Healthcare Center and the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo were recently named in the top facilities in the nation by US News And World Report and The National Rural Health Association (NRHA).
The NRHA named the top 100 Critical Care Hospitals in the country, and included JCHC on their list.
Marcy Schueler, Information Specialist with the JCHC, said the hospitals were judged on 56 different performance criteria, as determined by a Hospital Strength Index. The index looks at performance measures indicating market strength, value and financial strength as key points.
She said the care center is extremely proud of the recognition.
US News and World Report also named Amie Holt Care Center as one of the top nursing homes in the country.
Schueler said that was also an honor for the facility.
