The second weekend in September is “Born in a Barn” time, an annual fall 'feel-good' sale hosted by Shelley Kinnison. Held on the family grounds east of Sheridan, it's a fantastic sale of everything under the sun or as this weekend's weather showed us...under the clouds.
Hundreds of people showed up for the event and gauging by the number of items being hauled off, Kinnison says it's another successful year.
Starting with six vendors three years ago, over 40 were present displaying their products. Kinnison came up with the idea while watching the economy nosedive.
Why invite the entire county to traipse all over your property in search of that special treasure?
Born in a Barn was created to support people's serious addictions to repurposing, refurbishing and refreshing all kinds of junk and then putting them up for sale.
