It was a food lovers delight as hundreds gathered for the 5th annual Taste of Sheridan Sunday evening.
Sponsored by the Sheridan North Main Association, it was a fun, food tasting festival held in Thorne Rider Stadium. Thirteen vendors were on hand with such delectables as steak covered with chocolate sauce, bacon wrapped scallops and chocolate caramel tarts.
Chairman Nancy Silla was impressed by the attendance.
A ticket got attendees a taste of some of the best food prepared by some of the best restaurants and vendors in the area.
Janet Bishop was just getting ready to taste one huge scrumptious rib when it got the best of her and landed on the ground.
Half the proceeds went to the North Main Association to help with improvements in that area, the other half went back to the vendors to help defray their costs and tasters got some of the best food around. Nancy Silla says...
In the last year, four new businesses have opened in the North Main area.
