Economic times are tough for everyone and the Sheridan County Fair Board is also feeling the pinch. At their meeting Thursday night it was announced that their 2010-2011 operating budget for the fairgrounds is being cut. That cut amounts to $75,000 less than the half-million dollar budget they had to work with last year.
Fairgrounds Director Sharon Nadeau says it all comes down to being thrifty.
In addition to being wise with their spending, good customer care is essential in tough economic times. Customer satisfaction is something for which the board is striving.
Sheridan County Commissioner Steve Maier summed it when he said, “When you focus on serving people, good things will happen.”
