Interstate 90 between Buffalo and Gillette is now open after being closed because of flooding.
The road reopened early this morning. The Wyoming Department of Transportation had closed the road Saturday morning because of flash flooding at Dead Horse Creek.
The information comes from Ronda Holwell of the transportation department. She said the road was closed at 10:40 Saturday morning and maintenance crews were on scene immediately to assess damages. The road was reopened at 1:20 a.m. today as soon as the water receded and the road was deemed safe for the traveling public.
