As of 6 o'clock this morning, the Gilead Fire, 10 miles northwest of Buffalo, has been taken over by a Type 3 Incident Management Team. Public Affairs Specialist for the Big Horn National Forest, Susie Douglas.
Ten engines are also standing by as a precautionary measure in the case that structure protection efforts are required. Douglas said structure protection is not anticipated at this time. The fire is six miles from Story.
