62-year-old Gary R. Barclay of Sheridan died at the scene in a single-vehicle roll-over Saturday six miles south of Sheridan
A report issued from Sgt. Stephen Townsend of the Wyoming Highway Patrol in Cheyenne indicates that roadways were icy at the time of the crash. Mr. Barclay was southbound when he lost control of the pick-up. The truck crossed the center line and then went off the left side of the road, where it then overturned one complete time.
During the rollover, Mr. Barclay, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time, was totally ejected from the cab of the pick-up.
On a related note: our Public Notices indicate that Rocky Mountain Ambulance responded Saturday to nine separate motor vehicle accidents resulting in trauma.
