The Wyoming Rehab Wild West Hoop Jam had a small change of venue this year but certainly not less participation. The teams registered Friday night and Saturday was near perfect weather for the 3 on 3 tournament. While temperatures climbed into the 80’s and the asphalt began to heat up… so did the players. The team tournament includes both male and female divisions from young children to adults. Teams come from nearby states as well as from throughout Wyoming. In addition to the tournament, the break times are filled with contests like the 3-Point Challenge. In this event players must shoot 25 basketballs from five locations around the 3 point line. Not only do they have to make as many balls as they can but there is also a time limit that makes the challenge that much harder. The tournament will continue today. The games have been moved from Main Street and this year they courts are set up behind the School District 2 Administration building near Whitney Plaza.
