Household Hazardous Waste Facility is Saving the City Money

City of Sheridan Solid Waster Manager Charles Martineau reported to the City Council Monday during the latest budget work session that the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at the City Landfill continues to save the City money.

Martineau also stated that one of the goals for the upcoming fiscal year is to continue to work on the permitting process for the landfill expansion site, which is 102 acres just south of the current landfill. The Solid Waste Division's proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year is $4.6 million.
