The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting Wednesday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.
Trustees approved a request from Hospital CEO Mike McCafferty in the amount of $50,000 to pursue the design of a couple of projects that are part of the Hospital's strategic plan.
While it isn't definite, McCafferty stated that there is one particular architect that the Hospital has experience working with.
McCafferty also updated the Board on how things are moving along with the new Welch Cancer Center, as they've been in the process of moving around 20 trees from the construction site over to the main campus. He also stated that they will begin pouring concrete on the facility in early August.
