The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees learned Wednesday that Trustee Randy Bomar will be resigning from the board soon. Bomar's resignation comes as the result of changes made by the Wyoming Board of Registration for Professional Engineers to their rules and regulations that govern engineers in the state. Bomar explains the amendment that was approved that will force him to leave the Hospital Board.
Bomar is a Principal with Vista West Engineering in Sheridan, which creates a conflict he says with his position on the Hospital Board.
Bomar feels that the changes to the rules and regulations by the Board of Professional Engineers will limit those in his profession.
Bomar stated that he will submit his letter of resignation to the Hospital Board of Trustees by the end of the month.
