The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees held a special meeting Thursday to approve the guaranteed maximum price from KWN Construction for the Welch Cancer Center reconstruction project.

McCafferty said that initially KWN estimated that the GMP would be around $9 million. The Cancer Center project will encompass approximately 16,000 square feet.
McCafferty said that they haven't set a date for a groundbreaking on the facility, but that they'd be meeting with KWN soon to go over the bid award and figure out a date for the groundbreaking.
