Hospital Board Approves Change to Medical Staff Rules and Regulations

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board approved a slight change to the Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Physicians will now have a bit more time to dictate a report of surgical procedures following surgery.

Hospital Chief of Staff Dr. Brad Hanebrink explains why the change was made.

Hanebrink said that since most surgical procedures are done in a very similar manner, that it wouldn't be a problem not having the doctors do their dictation immediately after surgery.
